Get to Know Us
David and Jenée met in high school through the world of speech and debate and it was there that they both discovered their passion for advocacy and systemic change. They have founded several nonprofits, served on countless Student and Professional Executive Boards, and mentored hundreds of youth nationwide. At the root of their mission for The Edgerton Consulting Group, they hope to continue to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders to achieve their God-given purpose. David and Jenée are happily married D.C. residents and new parents to their baby girl, Davina.

David Edgerton III

David Edgerton III is a true son of Howard University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and a current law student at Howard University School of Law. He currently serves as the Executive Chairman of Brothers in Law Inc., a student-run nonprofit organization dedicated to diversifying the legal profession by providing a tangible pipeline into the profession for underrepresented students. He believes that it is our duty as a world community to build up every child from every background and is committed to working zealously until this goal is achieved.
David is a three-time NSDA National finalist and has championed several national tournaments, including the Minneapple, The Sunviational, NIETOC, GMU Patriot Games, Harvard, the Minnesota 3AA Tournament, HBCU Nationals, and the Jack and Jill of America Oratorical Contest. He served as the President of the Howard University Speech and Debate team, where he participated in the highly publicized Howard v. Harvard debate.
He plans to pursue a career in appellate impact litigation, academia, and young adult ministry.

Jenée Edgerton

Jenee Edgerton is a Doctoral Candidate pursuing her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at The George Washington University. She is a proud graduate of the illustrious Howard University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. Jenee has a passion for education and mental health equity and seeks to serve marginalized communities. She founded Evolve Black Gnosis an organization committed to providing affordable mental health resources for Black students. Jenée is also a two-time NSDA National finalist, earning the title of 2018 Program Oral Interpretation Champion and 2017 Program Oral Interpretation Runner-Up. Jenée has also championed and finaled at dozens of national tournaments including the Berkeley, George Mason University, Glenbrooks, Sunvitational, and Harvard Invitationals.
Jenée will continue to pursue her passion as a child advocate as she seeks to become a Clinical Child Psychologist after graduation.
